Morgan Tucker

Director/Instructor

Morgan Tucker, started her journey with Taekwondo in the summer of 2004 in McKinney, Texas. Ms. Tucker immediately feel in love with the sport and the confidence that it gave her. Wanting to encourage other young students in the same ways that she had been encouraged, Ms. Tucker became a junior instructor in 2010.

Ms. Tucker been competing in local and national competitions since she received her green belt in 2005. With Taekwondo, Ms.Tucker has also gotten the opportunity to compete in international competitions in England (2010) and Hungary(2016). Ms. Tucker earned her 3rd Degree black belt in December 2016.

Accomplishments:

  • World championship in Kidderminster, England 2010, TEAM USA Girls Team. Won gold in patterns and gold in sparring.

Ms. Tucker graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Texas A&M in 2018. In August 2019, Ms. Tucker joined the RBBA Team as Director and instructor.

Low Rank Testing is October 18

We’ve got our low-rank testing coming up on October 18, 2018!

Congratulations to our low rank students on their upcoming belt promotions! Graduation will be held at Rockwall Black Belt Academy.
In the event that your child can not make the scheduled graduation, please talk to or call Mr. Powell to set up a make-up time.
The testing fee for Little Dragons is $45.00.
The testing fee for Adults and Juniors (white – blue advanced belts) is $60.00.
To ensure that everyone receives the correct belt and that Graduation starts on time,
please have your payment in by Tuesday, May 2nd. We encourage all
students to bring friends and family to watch their belt promotion. Be sure to have
your camera handy so you can capture the highlights of Graduation.
If you or your child is not approved for testing, then there will be no classes on the
testing days.

We have an upcoming tournament in our area!

Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to test your skills and improve your martial arts, all while representing Rockwall Black Belt Academy in the the December Pod Tournament. Compete in your choice of patterns, sparring, or both!

Tournament Details:

Lil’ Dragons, Tots 9:00 am – 9:45 am

White and Yellow Belts (Adults and Kids) 9:00 am – 9:45 am

Green and Blue Belts (Age 11 an Under) 10:00 am – 11:00am

Red and Brown Belts (Age 11 an Under) 11:15 am – 12:30 pm

All Black Belts (All Ages) All Adults (12 and older) Green-Black Belts 12:45 pm –2:00 pm

High Rank Testing is Friday, December 14

High Rank Belt Testing

High rank belt testing is coming up! High rank students will be testing for their next belt on Friday, December 14, 2018.

Time

Junior and adult red through blackbelt students will test together. Testing will be from 6:30-8:30 Friday night.

Testing Fees

Red belts through first degree recommended: $75

Blackbelt Chevron: $50

Please have your testing fees turned in by Tuesday, December 11.
